The Pacific Grove Inn is a boutique hotel in Pacific Grove California that provides charming accommodations with the intimacy of a bed and breakfast. Built in 1904 and 1908 by Sea Captain Frank LaVerne Buck and Apothecary Joseph Tuttle, these two establishments were remarkably sophisticated for their time and place in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places Comprised of 16 uniquely decorated Victorian Era rooms and suites, which blends an old world charm with modern luxury. Each guest room and suite has a unique color scheme and includes fireplaces, several with private porches, balconies and entrance with views of the Monterey Bay. A sanctuary of tranquility and charm awaken your senses with a gourmet breakfast, unwind in the evening with our daily wine reception from 4pm to 5pm, and take pleasure in freshly baked cookies and cold milk before turning in for the evening. Situated in Pacific Grove, the thriving and remarkable attractions in and around Monterey are just minutes away. Cannery Row offers visitor's unique attractions, restaurants, convenient shopping and an exciting nightlife. Enjoy walking through downtown Pacific Grove and shop at the several boutiques and stores that occupy the town's several historic buildings and wander out to the American Tin Outlets, home of the first outlet mall in California. Experience the Monterey Bay Aquarium which offers visitors award-winning galleries and exhibits, plants and animals. Full of history, visit the oldest continuously-operating lighthouse on the West Coast, Point Pinos Lighthouse serving since February 1855. This lighthouse sits on the northernmost tip of the Monterey Bay Peninsula; its beacon has flashed nightly as a guide and warning to ships off the rocky California coast. Witness the over wintering phenomenon of thousands of Monarch butterflies gathering together in pine and eucalyptus trees on a few select acres in Pacific Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
