PODs Backpackers is located a stone throw away from the KL Sentral Station, a hub where most of the train and buses, in and out of the city, link up and switch lines. It is surrounded by banks, post office, 24-hour convenient store, 24-hour internet cafes, food stalls and coffee shops, self operated laundries, schools, the deaf & blind centers, buses, taxis and train station. The Single and Double PODs are partitioned spaces, giving some privacy away from the main 14 and 4 bed dorms. The PODs have mattresses on raised platforms to give a Zen like feel. Some come with ceiling to floor length tinted windows, all have individual fans. Shared lights goes out at 11pm. The dorms have double bunk beds and are in a large area with plenty of personal space. Toilets and bathrooms are shared. PODs provides a cozy and relaxing atmosphere with breakfast, Wi-Fi, safe box for laptop and gadget storage, dorm lockers, clean linen, good service and links to other places around Malaysia. It is housed in a new building, with safe and easy accessibility to many tourist attractions within Brickfields itself and around 10 to 15 minutes to the next Monorail ride to the city center.
