The Old Saint Mary's Convent is set on 60 acres of vineyards and parkland in the heart of Marlborough's wine region, a good base to explore the Marlborough Sounds, Nelson and Kaikoura. It is 12 kilometers to Blenheim town centre and 5 kilometers to Blenheim airport. There are five rooms including the Chapel/Honeymoon Suite. All rooms at the Old Saint Mary's Convent have ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower, A/C, Sky TV, DVD, tea & coffee. Robes, slippers, hand made toiletries, fresh flowers and gourmet chocolates. WiFi throughout. All rooms have access to balconies. Chapel Suite has a large lounge with desk, fridge and CD player. The Old Saint Mary's Convent is formerly a historic Convent, built in 1901 of native NZ timber. Restored and opened as a boutique Bed and Breakfast, furnished with antiques, and NZ art. Onsite facilities include billiards room, library, outdoor swimming pool, bicycles,petanque, croquet. St Michael's Church onsite is available for weddings. Complimentary pre dinner drinks and full breakfast included.
