The Old Government House Hotel Spa is the longest established and most historically famous hotel in the Channel Islands. As a hotel it dates back to 1858 prior to which it was the official residence of the Queens representative to the Bailiwick of Guernsey - The Lt. Governor. The OGH, as it is now affectionately known, continues to be the leading hotel on the island. Located in the heart of the islands capital, St Peter Port, it is the perfect base to explore Guernsey and the other islands of the Bailiwick. For corporate guests the close proximity to the financial district is a major advantage, enabling them to conduct business in an exclusive town house location without the inconvenience of taxis. The hotel boasts two award-winning restaurants. The OGH Brasserie offers guests an informal style of food and service, with views across the Bailiwick, al fresco dining during the summer months and a well stocked continental style bar. Governors is arguably Guernseys most romantic and intimate fine dining restaurant it must be seen to be fully appreciated. Our seven conference rooms will meet all your delegate requirements as well as being suitable for private dining use. Each of the 63 bedrooms have been carefully designed to suit the hotels historic individual character, with elegant and stylish decor throughout, and all rooms have televisions with satellite channels and internet access, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
