Old Daltongate House is a Grade 2 listed townhouse built in 1654 by a prominent local Quaker family from nearby Swarthmoor Hall. It is now a luxury bed and breakfast establishment. Ulverston is a historic market town a mere 15 minutes from the delights of the Lake District and nestles on the shores of Morecambe Bay. The town has many festivals including the Flag Festival, Walking Festival, Dickensian and Charter Festival which includes the famous Lantern Procession.
