Are you looking for a Malaga guest house? The Oasis Backpackers Hostel Malaga is a newly opened Malaga guest house in the city centre, within walking distance of the Picasso Museum, the Roman amphitheatre, and the Cathedral of Malaga. This new guest house has mixed dorm rooms and also private double rooms. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the guest house, and there are also computers that you can use to check email or go online for free. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning in the large communal kitchen, but you may want to take it up to the guest house’s rooftop terrace so you can enjoy the view while you eat. Guests are invited to enjoy a free drink in the travelers’ bar and can go on the guest house’s free tapas and city tours. The guest house is located on Calle San Telmo, between the Church of the Holy Martyrs (La Iglesia de los Santos Martires) and the church of Santo Cristo de la Salud. Many Malaga attractions are approx. a 10 minute walk to the east: the Picasso Birthplace Museum (Museo Casa Natal de Picasso) on the Plaza de la Merced square; the Renaissance-era Cathedral of Malaga; the Malaga Picasso Museum in the 16th century Buenavista Palace; the oldest architectural remains in the city, the Roman Theatre (Teatro Romano de Malaga) dating from the first century B.C.; and the Moorish fortification called the Alcazaba. You can also visit the Gibralfaro Castle on top of a high hill. The Oasis Backpackers Hostel Malaga is approx. 2 km/1.2 miles from La Malagueta Beach.
