O'Brien Inn is conveniently located at Exit 1 off I-94 in the southwest corner of Michigan, one mile from the Indiana/Michigan state line. The hotel is in close proximity to Chicago and Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana, as well as Michigan City, Indiana, home of the Lighthouse Mall and Blue Chip Casino. There are several types of rooms to accommodate your every need including the Standard room with 2 full-sized beds, dresser, desk, tv and table for 2. The King Suite has a king sized bed, sleeper sofa, coffee table, dresser and desk also includes a kitchenette with countertop and sink, microwave and fridge and a Jacuzzi for 2 in the bathroom. The hotel also offers several 2-room suites with a king sized bed in the second room with a TV and dresser and a full sized bed and sleeper sofa in the first room along with kitchenette and Jacuzzi for 2. Guests will enjoy the cozy comfort of the lobby with fireplace and seating area for lounging as well as a dining and kitchen area where a full hot breakfast is served every morning including Danish, bagels, English muffins, scrambled egg patties, sausage patties, hot cakes, a multiple choice of hot and cold cereals with milk, fresh fruit and juices. The hotel also provides complete swimming accommodations with our heated indoor swimming pool, including a guest bathroom and sunning patio for our summer guests. There is also a video game arcade and pool table designed to while away the hours with family entertainment. Towels are also furnished at the pool area for your convenience. In walking distance from O'Brien Inn you will find a Wendy's Restaurant and Dominic's Restaurant (seasonal hours apply) as well as Plaza One Gas Station, open 24 hrs for your convenience. The hotel is the closest to the Four Winds Casino, only a couple blocks from the entrance. The hotel is also pet-friendly with designated pet rooms to accommodate pet guests. An additional pet fee applies. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
