This establishment is located less than a half-mile away from the Imperial Palace. The Nissho Besso is also close to the famous geisha district for which Kyoto is principally known. Other attractions within the city of Kyoto include the many temples and the Monkey Park, where the diminutive primates are allowed to roam free and to receive treats from visiting pedestrians. The Kansai International Airport is accessible from Kyoto and the Nissho Besso via an express train. The entire trip takes about 73 minutes. The rooms at the Nissho Besso feature a traditional Japanese decor. Cotton bathrobes are provided by the hotel and a complementary green tea service is offered to guests. This establishment was remodeled in 1992, but the roots of the Nissho Besso go all the way back to the year 1788. It was once the home of a wealthy merchant. Within the hotel today, guests are provided access to business services and are served a breakfast every morning. The hotel also provides complementary parking for those guests who arrive in their own vehicles.
