Nestled between Mt. Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro, Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge is located within a lush coffee plantation, 140 acres, with natural streams flowing through the property, from Mt. Meru. The lush vegetation and the magnificent views of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro and the looming Mt. Meru, right in front of the lodge, is an absolutely awesome sight. This lodge is ideally located between Arusha town and Kilimanjaro International Airport, 27 km either way. Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge has total 340 rooms and can accommodate up to 800 guests in the following distribution: 72 rooms are located in the main building, 8 of them do have interconnecting doors, 130 chalets with 260 rooms. All Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge chalet rooms have a living room, bedroom and a bathroom, 14 presidential suites are located on a separate area, with their own living room, en suite bathroom, dining area and a kitchen and also butler service. All the rooms have telephone, Satellite-TV, Minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, safe deposit lockers and hair dryer. Some of the rooms have Jacuzzi. 24 hours room service and laundry service is provided. All Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge rooms are furnished in African décor. Conference facility for up to 1000 at one time. And the lodge is finalising the conference facility for up to 4000 at one time. When complete it will be the only one in the East Africa region. The rooms range from Presidential Suites, Executive cottages, Deluxe Cottage and standard rooms in the main building. The place has been recommended by Gates Foundation as a place for biggest events and life saving decision making. Whether it is for a wedding, International conference, summits, or accommodation we are the biggest providers in Northern Circuits in Tanzania. All under one roof and located in the northern Tanzania. By capacity we have more than 700 rooms all in Arusha and Kilimanjaro at the moment. Please note this property has a 3-day cancellation policy: any no-show or late cancellation policy will be charged for the 1st night's stay. Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge offers varying culinary experiences including Continental, Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisine: • Kilimanjaro Restaurant: Situated on the ground floor, this airy and spacious restaurant with large glass windows has an uninterrupted view of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, and the blue azure waters of the swimming pool. • Cane Restaurant: This restaurant located on the second floor has a magnificent view of both the mountains as well, and the lush vegetation as a backdrop giving it a picturesque effect. • BBQ Ranch: This restaurant is outdoors and offers different types of grilled meats. • Rafiki Corner: A little coffee shop where one can have freshly brewed coffee, or long cold drink and snacks.
