Newton House, an 18th century former coaching inn, is located 6 miles from Ashbourne, in the heart of the Peak District, amidst a landscape of rolling pastures and dry stone walls. The Country House, designated as non-smoking, has 26 bedrooms equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Flatscreen TVs are provided in the bedrooms. Accommodation through LateRooms is on a BandB basis. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. Free car parking is available. Please notify the Country House in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. The Country House is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. Nearby attractions include Alton Towers, just half an hour away, Chatsworth House, 20 miles away, and Dove Dale
