The New Helvetia Hotel is a rustic and friendly haven situated in a secluded corner amidst pine trees only 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village of Platres in Cyprus. Family owned and operated since 1929, this elegant hotel has a cordial atmosphere and attentive service with excellent dining and 33 comfortable guestrooms with stunning views of the mountains and pine forests and 6 self catering studios. Lemesos beach is 40 km away and Paphos is 60 and Larnaca airport is 120 km from the hotel. Local Tips: The nearby Troodos Mountains harbour countless monasteries and traditional hillside villages, which make for pleasant exploring.
