Situated just 60 km north of Sesriem, the gateway to famous Sossusvlei, and a mere 5 kilometres from the main road. Namib Desert Lodge sits at the foot of a red sandstone cliff, the 'fossilised' dunes of the protomorphic Namib. TO08. 10. Among tall trees and palms are 50 rooms en suite, a restaurant and swimming pool, all of which invite you to linger and relax. The thatched restaurant is generously appointed and also includes a cosy bar and a cellar well-stocked with fine South African wines. There is a small welcoming reception area with seating for guests. 350 kms to the nearest airport (hosea kutako intl), 60 kms to city centre.
