The NH Milano 2 Residence hotel is situated within a park area next to a large pond. The central bus station is about 1 km away. It is only a few kilometres from the city centre, shopping opportunities, the theatre and the central train station. Linate Airport is about 7 km, while it is approximately 44 km from Malpensa Airport. The apartment hotel, next to the main hotel has been completely refurbished (2005) and consists of 50 rooms and 84 apartments. The apartments vary in size and offer different solutions to the needs of guests who are staying in Milan for a mid- to long-term period. The building is air conditioned and has a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facility, hairdressers' salon, bar, a restaurant, conference facilities, WLAN access, as well as room and laundry services. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car in the form of a car park and parking garage. The choice of accommodation on offer includes studios, 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom apartments with kitchenettes. Some of the rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace. The rooms feature modern dcor and most enjoy natural lighting. There are also rooms with disability access. A bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio, hi-fi system, Internet access, a minibar, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, a washing machine, ironing set, double or king-size beds, air conditioning, heating and a safe deposit box all feature. Biking is offered. The highlight of the residence is its restaurant service which offers different breakfast themes each month, special weekly menus and candlelight dinners by the pond. Take the green metro line towards Cologno/Gessate. Get off at Cascina Gobba. Take the bus 925 towards San Raffaele Hospital. The stop is in front of the Hotel (stop right after San Raffaele Hospital). A convenient shuttle bus takes guests to and from Linate Airport, the city centre and parking facilities.
