Location This city and conference hotel enjoys a strategic location on the Rambla de Montevideo. It lies just a few metres from the port, in the financial and commercial heart of the city. The historical centre, where guests will find a number of restaurants, bars and pubs, is just 500 metres from the accommodation and various shops and sports clubs are also just a few minutes away. Pocito Beach is a 15-minute drive away and the bus station is within 5 km of the hotel. The local airport is just Facilities This hotel was first built in 1959 and underwent a full renovation in 1999. The 10-storey building comprises a total of 136 modern guest rooms, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. Fully air-conditioned, the hotel welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. On-site facilities include lift access, a TV lounge, WLAN Internet access and a bike hire service, whilst a cafe, bar and restaurant make up the dining options available. Room and laundry services and parking are provided. Rooms The comfortable rooms are en suite with bathtub/shower and hairdryer. They come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, minibar, air conditioning, individually regulated heating and a safety deposit box. The beds are double and one of the guest rooms has been especially adapted for disabled guests. Sports/Entertainment Guests can relax in the hot tub or sauna, on the sun terrace, or with a massage.
