Mopan River Resort is 90 acres of private reserve in a setting of incredible beauty and tranquility, snuggled at the foothills of the Maya Mountains with the Mopan River at our doorstep. We are the closest resort to the ancient Maya ruins of Tikal in Guatemala without leaving Belize. The resort is situated on 10 acres of lush gardens amongst the existing mature grove of coconut, avocado, mango, citrus and cedar tree and surrounded by 80 acres of incredible natural jungle habitat. With well over 200 species of unusual and distinct birds in constant song; an explosion of colour and tranquil sound - you are in paradise! Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
