Praia da Luz Beach is located two kilometers away with a cliff nearby that was formed by a meteorite and offers panoramic views of the surrounding areas. The Montinho de Ouro is located a little over an hour's drive from the Faro International Airport. Guests will need to rent a car or travel by train to reach the hotel from the airport. There are 12 apartments and 4 rooms at the Montinho de Ouro which are spread out over 2 stories. In-room amenities include kitchenettes that are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, electric cookers and kettles, bathrooms with a shower and tub, a mini-bar and air conditioning. The Montinho de Ouro is a modern complex that opened in 2000 but was totally renovated in 2007.
