Miramar Singapore is situated along the Singapore River, the hotel is located within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the Chinatown Food Street, the Great World City Shopping Mall, seafood eateries in the Outram district and the Chinatown MRT station. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the Clarke Quay & Boat Quay restaurants and pubs, the Ministry of Sound from London, 24-hour mini marts, as well as Orchard Road shopping belt, the financial/ business district, Suntec Convention Centre and the Harbourfront Cruise Centre. Renovated in 2006, this 16-storey business hotel comprises a total of 342 rooms of which 10 are suites. Facilities include a spacious lobby, a lounge/ bar and 3 restaurants. Moreover, there is a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk, lifts, a caf and a hairdressing salon to make use of, as well as conference facilities and, on payment of additional fees, public Internet access, room and laundry services and car parking. The recently renovated Deluxe rooms are spacious and equipped with in-room amenities that include complimentary satellite channels, wireless broadband Internet access, an in-room safe, an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a minibar and a small fridge. Furthermore, each comes with coffee and tea making facilities, a king-sized bed and centrally controlled air conditioning. Affording views out over Singapore River, Clarke Quay or the hotel swimming pool, guests have the option of either a king-sized bed or 2 single beds. Leisure options include an outdoor swimming pool and a children's paddling area, as well as a brand-new gym with cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills, exercise bicycles, a multi-gym station and weights. There is also a pebbled walkway which is great for some spontaneous foot reflexology. Meals come in a buffet form; lunch and the evening meal may alternatively be taken la carte or chosen from a menu. The hotel provides complimentary scheduled shuttle bus services to Orchard Road, Suntec City, the central business district and Chinatown. Complimentary shower/ hospitality rooms are also available for guests after check-out - an ideal facility for those guests on late departure flights. Double bed rooms may be requested (according to availability).
