This beach and spa hotel was recently renamed in conjunction with its merging with Palace of the Golden Horses. The two hotels now operate under one management team and are leading hotels for meetings, incentive breaks, conventions and exhibitions as well as the perfect destination for business and pleasure. This establishment is a resort hotel with Asian-style architectural elements, rich wooden beams and panels carved with Malaysian motifs and featuring enchanting artefacts and tasteful furnishing. The resort offers guests beautiful scenery and a sandy-bottomed swimming lagoon set amidst verdant greenery. The resort has a total of 178 well-appointed guest rooms, including 47 rooms in picturesque chalets featuring panoramic views of the lake. Further facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a lift, a bar, a restaurant, a laundry service and parking for those arriving by car. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and VISA are accepted at this hotel. There are 4 food and beverage outlets in the resort: the Abdul & Charlie's coffee house, Cheng Ho Court Chinese Restaurant, Sunset Lounge and Beach Hut, a fascinating sports bar on the shore. Abdul & Charlie's, an all-day dining coffee house serves Asian and International fare. The coffee house is built in the Malaysian 'Atap' design overlooking the swimming lagoon and is open daily. All rooms feature a balcony and are fully equipped with facilities such as coffee/ tea making facilities, an en suite bathroom with a bathtub, 3 direct dial telephones with voicemail, a fully stocked minibar, a full-size writing desk, a remote-controlled satellite TV, an electronic in-room safe, air conditioning and a hairdryer. The resort is strategically situated, just around a 20-minute drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur. The administrative capital of Malaysia in Putra Jaya, the National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil as well as the Selangor Turf Club are all close by. It is around a 35-minute drive to Kuala Lumpur International Airport at Sepang.
