The hotel is a 19th century mill that has been renovated into a boutique hotel. It is centrally located in easy walking distance to all of Newport’s biggest attraction. The Newport Harbor, which hosts the world famous America’s Cup, is only one block away. Visitors are not restricted to boat watching, however. There are many options to rent boats for touring, fishing or sailing. Also just one block from the hotel is Thames Street. This Newport landmark is known for its many unique shops, craft stores and antiques. The Mill Street Inn has free parking for guests. The Mill Street Inn has 23 rooms including two-level townhouse suites. All rooms feature premium TV programming, direct dial phones, a hair dryer, individual air conditioning, luxury bedding and soothing decor to help ensure all guests are comfortable during their stay. The Mill Street Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places. Although it is a 19th century structure, the building has a modern feel on the inside with exposed brick walls and wood beams. The hotel has a roof deck with views of the city and the harbor. Guests are offered a free Continental breakfast and a complimentary afternoon tea.
