The hospitality of a family run hotel with a grand style. Perfect for a luxury weekend away or for a base to explore the Welsh countryside. Please note the Leisure Club at the hotel is closed for refurbishment January & February 2007. (10/06 KB) Designed like a Swiss mountain chalet, painted green. A distinctive building set in lush green surroundings. This is a large fine-dining restaurant with stained glass windows. Both an a la carte and carvery are available serving both local dishes as well as International cuisine. More modern in design than the rooms, but still offers a traditional setting to dine in. A brasserie restaurant is also available for more relaxed dining. Large lobby with seating area, and decorated in pastel shades of red & purple. Located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, Mid-Wales, and just under 2 hours from major cities including Cardiff, Birmingham and Chester. Llandrindod Wells train station is a short walk from the hotel and is linked by the Heart of Wales line to Swansea and Shrewsbury. Trains run about four times a day. Central / Countryside 170 kms to the airport (cardiff) 240 kms to the airport (london heathrow) 40 km to the nearest station (llandrindod wells) 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 10 km to the nearest fair site (royal welsh show grounds)
