A host of popular sites are located near the MayneView Bed & Breakfast. Among these are the Shenandoah National Park, George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah River, Luray Caverns and the Civil War Battlefield. Several wineries are also close by. The MayneView Bed & Breakfast offers five guest rooms. These are complete with televisions, coffee makers, air-conditioning units and private bathrooms with showers or bathtubs. Three of the rooms come with fireplaces. The MayneView Bed & Breakfast was built in 1865 and served as a station for an underground railroad. This historic property now provides a wrap-around front porch, a parlor, a TV room and a DVD library. There is also a dining room, where a complimentary full breakfast and free snacks and beverages are served.
