Otel is on a quiet street, hidden in the heart of Alacat, once one of those abandoned centuries-old ancient houses. It is said that each house in the town has its own story, probably our house has its own story as well which we have yet to discover. The property was in ruins when we purchased it and desperately needed attention; therefore we decided to leave its future into the hands of the professional craftsman and hold our breath. They attended to every stone in the building with great care before putting them back in their rightful places and gave the building a new life. The main work was finished in just over a hundred days. Whilst excavating the foundations of the building, rumours spread throughout Alacat that a pot of gold had been discovered by the builders. We hadn't buried the gold, so it didn't worry us, and whether true or not, the story remained. As the refurbishment progressed, we started to think twice. The house is too big for just a father and son. It would be perfect for a hotel, though. With four rooms upstairs, two downstairs and a big living room, the building turned into a cosy little hotel. We would like to make you feel as at home as is possible-why not come and see for yourself?
