The Marriott's Timber Lodge is located in the middle of the South Shore area. The hotel is at the base of the Heavenly Gondola, it is also within 10 minutes' drive of the Edgewood Golf Course and the casinos on the Nevada border. The Marriott's Timber Lodge is best reached by car or plane. While the Reno Tahoe Airport is an hour from the property, the regional airstrip is just five miles from the hotel. The Marriott's Timber Lodge offers apartments with one, two, or three bedrooms to guests. The apartments have full kitchens, living rooms with DVD players and cable television, laundry equipment, and private balconies. There are also standard style guest rooms, which have king beds and mini fridges. Non-smoking units are available, and there are 340 units in total.
