The Maria Apartments is located 700 m from the sandy Bufos beach in the village of Sissi, a quiet resort on the northern coast of the island paradise of Crete. This family-run hotel offers warm hospitality and is great for couples and families with 27 spacious rooms offering a nice base from which to discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas, lively nightlife and attractions in Malia (7km away). Heraklion Airport is 40 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Sissi is a quiet resort with clean beaches and traditional village taverns overlooking the harbour and the sea. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: The poolside snack bar opens 20 hours a day and serves a wide variety of drinks and snacks. Once a week there is a BBQ evening where guests can enjoy Cretan and Greek cuisine around the swimming pool while enjoying traditional music and dancing, Karaoke evening and occasional quiz nights.
