Location. 26 kilometers north of Cairns, in tropical northern Queensland, Australia, lies the picturesque resort town of Palm Cove, where visitors will also find the Mango Lagoon Resort and Wellness Spa. The hotel is located only 400 meters from the Esplanade, beach, restaurants and shops. Hotel Features. Guests of the resort are greeted in a spacious, cool lobby decorated with simple pillars, arched entrance ways and Zen-like ornamental floor detail. The resort has a tropical rainforest backdrop and is surrounded by palm trees, a 2.5-acre tropical garden and four outdoor pools, including a 50-meter lap pool. All-day dining on local produce is available at the cafe-style restaurant, whilst the Wellness Spa offers guests a variety of massages and therapeutic treatments. Wireless Internet access and an Internet cafe are also on site. Guestrooms. 100 guestrooms include one- and two-bedroom suites and hotel-style rooms decorated with contemporary, simple elegance and tropical accents, such as frangipani paintings. All are air conditioned, and offer television and direct-dial phones. The suites have balconies or patios, and feature separate living/dining areas, laundry facilities and kitchens equipped with refrigerators, stainless steel cooktops, ovens and dishwashers. Suites also offer DVD players. Expert Tip. Palm Cove is the only beach in the Cairns area that has a jetty. Not only a boon for fishermen and children, early-morning walkers will appreciate the jetty for the enhanced sunrise views it offers.
