Situated at the foot hill of Wedihiti Kanda. The famous Kataragama shrine can be found nearby and also Maligawila, one of the largest stone-sculpted statues of Lord Buddha. Yala national park is 5 kilometres away and Bundala bird sanctuary is 20 kilometres away. It is located 260 kms from Colombo. A bright and airy hotel which claims to be the only hotel in the country with underwater music in the pool. whr01f 14/04/09. A modern property built in a traditional style of architecture. The hotel has a medium sized lobby with a high-ceiling, large picture windows and is decorated with local artefacts. The large rooms have a light decor with TV, mini-bar, tea/ coffee making facilities and air conditioning. The rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. There is a buffet restaurant serving international cuisine.
