The Maistrali Studios, Batsi is the perfect place to spend Cyclades holidays. It’s a comfortable Andros 3-star accommodation in the town of Batsi, just 70 metres/77 yards from a beach of golden sand. Maistrali Studios is a small property of 32 rooms and apartments in a lush garden. Past guests have given it positive reviews for its excellent location and the extremely helpful staff. Each morning, a fresh breakfast featuring local produce is served in dining room or in the garden. The staff can assist you with luggage storage, car rental, and shuttle service in Maistrali Studios’s private van. This accommodation is located within the picturesque village of Batsi on the western coast of the island of Andros (sometimes called Andro), the northernmost of the Cyclades islands. Batsi has a lovely sandy beach, ouzo shops, and cosy tavernas where you can find a good meal. It’s worth visiting the nearby Zoodochos Pigi Monastery, the largest monastery on the island, perhaps dating back to the Byzantine era. Among the other Andros attractions are the Agios Petros Tower overlooking Gavrio, the Archeological Museum of Paleopoli, and Faneromeni Castle (also called the Pano Kastro or Upper Castle) near Kochylou. From the island’s main port at Gavrio, ferries leave for Rafina on the mainland (a 30-minute drive from Athens International Airport) and for other islands in the Cyclades.
