Oulton Broad is a magical place set on the entrance of the Broads National Park and close to the popular seaside town of Lowestoft. Oulton Broad is one of the most wonderful stretches of inland water in the UK and forms the southern gateway to the Broads National Park. Oulton Broad is a very popular place for people who enjoy watersports and is therefore simply perfect for sailing, canoeing and rowing adventures. Many people will also like enjoying a relaxing cruise along the peaceful broads, using either Short Boat Trips or Day Boat Hire, that's if you are already not on a boating holiday in Oulton Broad. In which case you will know that Oulton Broad is the ideal base for a family holiday, short break or weekend away, whether you arrive by car or by boat! A short from Oulton Broads famous park you will find a selection of charming gift shops, Boat Shops, Cafes, restaurants, pubs and Leisure Facilities. Very near to Oulton Broad is where visitors to the area will find Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve which is home to many of England's best loved species of wildlife, including kingfishers, barn owls, grass snakes and otters.
