Welcome to Lough Kip Lodge, a small and exclusive country guesthouse with deceptive appearance, built on three different levels, situated 2.4km outside the village of Moycullen and 10km from Galway City and Salthill. Ideally situated between Galway Bay and Lough Corrib and on the edge of Connemara, it is the perfect base for visiting Connemara and the surrounding countryside and for fishing, golf, walking, and hill climbing. There are three golf courses within 10km. There is also a choice of equestrian activities available nearby. This beautifully appointed country home offers 3 rooms en-suite with luxurious accommodation. 2 Double rooms with King size beds (one with full en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath) and a Twin room with 1.2m (4ft) beds. All bed and bathroom linen is made from 100% Egyptian cotton. All bedrooms have wooden floors and charming timber window shutters which are a feature throughout the house. A choice of cooked or continental Breakfast is served in the bright airy Garden Room. Home cooking and baking is a speciality of the house with home-made jam and preserves one of the house favourites. Evening meals are available but must be booked in advance. Great care is taken to source food locally from farmers markets and local meat and fish suppliers. Make yourself at home in the generous sized rooms of this tastefully decorated house. Watch TV or read in front of the wood burning stoves in the 2 Sitting rooms available for guests use. Or relax outside in the vast peaceful country garden with patios and seating areas and enjoy perusing the many local interest and reference books available. Complimentary tea and coffee.
