Losari Coffee Plantation is built on a coffee plantation in Magelang, Central Java; halfway between Yogyakarta, Semarang and Solo. This resort is approximately 1. 5 hour drive from Yogyakarta and Semarang cities, while it takes 2 hour drive from Solo city to this resort. The Plantation produces high-quality organic robusta coffee beans every year and all visitors are welcome to learn all about the coffee growing and harvesting process. The stunning resort is situated on a hill with a breathtaking panoramic view of 8 volcanoes. One's first impression of Losari will be of living in an old Javanese coffee plantation. To reach this resort; Garuda Indonesia Air, Lion Air, Batavia Air, Merpati Air, Air Asia and Mandala Air have several flights everyday from Jakarta, Bali and Surabaya to Yogyakarta, Semarang and Solo. There are also some International direct flight services between Singapore and Solo by Silk Air, between Singapore and Semarang by Garuda Indonesia Air, between Kuala Lumpur and Solo & Yogyakarta by Air Asia and between Kuala Lumpur and Yogyakarta by Malaysia Airlines. Javanese and Dutch House style, the Plantation has now been transformed into and exclusive Resort & spa with outstanding facilities that blend colonial, Javanese and modern architecture together. 26 luxurious villas each unique and with spacious outdoor verandas overlooking breathtaking view on different volcanoes. The 1828 original Dutch Mansion is where early breakfast and high tea are served. Each villa is unique and is an independent construction with a large living area and outdoor verandas overlooking breathtaking views over the plantation or the volcanoes. Each villa has been reconstructed from an original Javanese antique wooden house and decorated with original antiques from Gabriella Teggia's art collection. The 65 seats Java Red Restaurant for lunch and dinner, the Java Green pool side restaurant offering healthy organic meals and snacks during the day, and the Plantation Bar for breakfast, afternoon lounging and nightly wining. The Club House, an original 1928 plantation manor house, completely restored and furnished with Javanese antiques and paintings, library and music room. High Tea is served on its sprawling verandas every afternoon. 25 kms to city centre, 65 km to the nearest station (tawang train station), 65 kms to the nearest airport (achmad yani), 70 km to the nearest fair site (yogya expo centre).
