The Hotel Los Templarios lies in the centre of Ponferrada, only a few metres away from the river and woodland. The town and tourist centre as well as various restaurants, bars, nightclubs and numerous shops are very close by and are easily reached on foot. Access to public transport and the nearest train station are roughly 1 km away and Leon airport is roughly 10 km from the hotel. There is a nearby ski resort (around 13 km) and a ski lift (about 200 m away). Opened in 2004, the tastefully decorated and fully air-conditioned Hotel Los Templarios comprises 18 rooms spread over 2 floors. The hotel is on a main street and guests are welcomed in the spacious foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, lifts, safes, and a cloakroom. Further facilities include a caf, a cosy bar, and an air-conditioned restaurant serving culinary delights, an Internet terminal and W-LAN Access Point. Additionally, room and laundry services are available. The hotel also offers parking facilities and a bicycle storage room. The modern rooms include an en suite bathroom with shower or bath and a hairdryer. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an Internet connection and a double bed. Each room also comes with lounge area, a balcony or a terrace, and features air conditioning which can be centrally or individually regulated. Breakfast is served every day. Lunch and dinner may be taken la carte; the evening meal may alternatively be chosen from a set menu. Furthermore, special dietary requirements as well as individual-specific dishes may be prepared.
