A former bishop's dating back to the late 18th century, the building was converted into a hotel in 1886 and restored in 1998 in a combination of romantic, neo-Aztec and art-nouveau styles. The harmonious combination of its decor has created a pleasant atmosphere with a predominance of sobriety and refinement. The hotels offers 30 rooms, where each room has its own distinctive personality. All rooms include cable TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe and private bathroom. The hotel restaurant, La Azotea. serves typical Mexican or Continental breakfasts. At lunch and dinnertime the very best of contemporary Mexican haute cuisine is offered, together with a splendid selection of Mexican and international wines.
