Littledean House Hotel, is a large family - run country guest house in the heart of the Forest of Dean. A Hotel for over a 100 years, the building hosts a quirky charm, perfect for those looking for something less mainstream. With a large garden at the rear, and gorgeous views of May Hill, its an ideal base for those visiting the area for leisure or business. There are plenty of outdoor activities right on the doorstep, perfect for walking, cycling, golf, canoeing, fishing and horse riding. The Hotel has 13 bedrooms - all ensuite with showers, including single, double and family rooms. Breakfast is available, but must be arranged on arrival. There is a public bar open to residents offering a cosy log fire in winter months, local real ale, and a selection of wines. We have a large beer garden ideal for a summer afternoon drink, perfect for families. Dogs may be allowed on request, please call the Hotel before booking. Evening meals are available Monday - Saturday in the restaurant, bar or garden. On Sundays a traditional roast using locally sourced meats is served 12 - 3pm. Please note the Bar is closed from 4pm on Sunday, no food is served in the evening. We are situated close to the A48, and less than an hour away from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Chepstow and Bristol. We have a large secure car-park (free parking).Please note there are no rooms on the ground floor, we do not have a lift, but some rooms can be allocated nearer to the top of the staircase. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Hotel, but we can't guarantee a connection in all bedrooms. Also mobile reception is limited within the building due to the rural area and thick walls.
