Conveniently located halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne, the Lodge is 14km south of Nhill just off the Western Highway and approximately an hour"s drive west of Horsham. Situated on the edge of the pristine Little Desert National Park, you will find the Lodge to be a peaceful and relaxing stopover for road weary travellers or a great base for your next adventure. To fully appreciate the wonders of the Little Desert you can take part in a range of activities that we offer. including 4 wheel drive tours, mallee fowl aviary tours, birdwatching and bushwalking. See an abundance of rare and endangered bird life and flora from grass trees to the outstanding blooms of native orchids. Discover the elusive Malleefowl on a Sanctuary Tour or join a Four Wheel Drive tour with one of our informative and experienced guides then finish your day with a meal in the Lodge’s fully licensed dining room by the glow of an open fire. The Lodge is an environmental education facilitiy and offers comfortable facilities, warm hospitality and an experience like no other.
