The charming Leverdale Hotel is situated in a quiet location overlooking the sea. Blackpool town centre is just a short tram or bus ride away (3 miles) where the 518-foot Blackpool Tower offers an undercover day out including the award-winning Tower Circus. The promenade is also home to many shops, the Sea Life Centre, Louis Tussaud's Waxworks, the Sandcastle and the world famous pleasure beach, to name but a few of the attractions available. Guests will find restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and Blackpool North railway station is approximately 2 miles away. Nearby airports include Blackpool (15 miles away) and Liverpool John Lennon ( 75 miles away). This lovely family-run accommodation is ideal for guests visiting Blackpool and wanting a more peaceful and relaxing break away. Overlooking lovely cliff walks and kilometres of glorious sands with views to the Lake District and North Wales, the family-friendly hotel offers 33 guest rooms and facilities including a restaurant and bar. Built in 1934, the hotel also offers a lobby with a hotel safe and lift access, room and laundry services (fees apply to both), and a car park. All rooms are tastefully furnished to offer guests a comfortable and relaxing stay. All rooms are well equipped with a TV, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a full en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include a double bed, Internet access, an ironing set and central heating. Guests may enjoy a game of pool/snooker. The nearby beach is sandy. A complimentary full English breakfast is served in the delightful dining room that is light and airy and offers a sense of calm before the day commences. Also in the evening guests can opt to dine in the restaurant and select their meal from a set menu. By car: leave the M55 at junction 4 (signposted North Shore). At the roundabout take the third exit onto the A 583 (Preston New Road). At the fourth set of traffic lights turn right onto the A 587 (South Park Drive). Keep straight on the main road for approximately 5 km to the double roundabout and take the second exit off the first roundabout into Red Bank Road. At the promenade turn right and the hotel is on the right about 36 m down the promenade. No stag or hen parties are allowed in the hotel.
