The atmosphere of informality and friendliness is apparent as soon as you walk through the door. Relax in a hot bath or take a 4x4WD trek through the many valleys and hills or even lounge by the huge open fire and read a book with a cup of your favourite drink. VU0104 Lemonthyme Lodge is the largest 'real' Log Cabin in the Southern Hemisphere. Nestled amongst pristine temperate rainforest on a valley side just above Lake Cethana. Large Man Ferns throw out their fonds in a gesture of welcome to all visitors. Award Winning Restaurant - fine food and wine is a speciality. The dinner menu features Tasmanian produce, including game, local meat, and seafood. The wine cellar features an extensive range of fine Australian and Tasmanian wines. After dinner warmth is provided around the huge open fire in the lounge. Small lounge area situated on the ground floor, with several comfortable sofas around a huge log open fire. The fire is constantly maintained to make sure the relaxed cosy atmosphere is always there.
