„All that goes against nature will not last“. - Charles Darwin It is our wish to damage nature as little as possible and live comfortably at the same time. We buy directly from farms in the neighbourhood, avoid unnecessary wrappings, compost bio-waste and the clean water from our sewage plant waters our gardens. The result is healthy plants and flowers in abundance. We have built the Lazy Lizard Hotel with natural stone and a lot of cedar wood – trying to avoid most things that are not „natural“ - into a large beautiful garden with sea view from every room. There are lots of shady places with hammacks, relax platforms and a yoga pavilion. Sun lovers may enjoy the terrace around the pool (with kiddy-pool) or the pool bar. Our hammam with antique marble basins is the ideal place to relax in a Turkish steambath. The open-air restaurant underneath the grapevines offers an international variety of food. The apartments as well as the double rooms lead to individual terrace space with sea view. Every unit has sat-tv and phone and internet connection. For those who prefer to sleep underneath our orange trees we offer space for camping or the use of one of our own tipi-tents. Environmental conservation and „soft“ tourism are important to us. Air conditioning for summer and floor heating for the winter time are provided by air-heat pumps and our pool is run by an oxygen generator. We get fresh water directly from the mountain and our own sewage plant produces clean water for our fruit trees (apricots, tangerines, lemons, oranges, peaches, figs, grenadines, grapes, olives etc.) We love nature! Therefore we cook mostly with ingredients from our own garden and from the farms in our village – and our chickens provide fresh eggs every day. The idea of „soft“ tourism not only avoids wrappings but also helps to support local farmers directly. Halfboard 10€ p.
