The Laurel Grove Inn on the South River is a luxury, 8,400 square feet cedar and stone contemporary home. Situated on three serene wooded acres overlooking the South River, the inn is 30 minutes from BWI Airport. The inn is only seven minutes from downtown Annapolis and the United States Naval Academy and 40 minutes to downtown Washington DC, by the museums. The inn's private dock draws 10 feet of depth and has water and electricity for a unique break in a boater's travel to Annapolis or the Chesapeake Bays waterways. In the warm weather months, enjoy the lovely riverside picnic area which is perfect for special events, family reunions, or corporate picnics. Otherwise, just sit a spell on the back porch watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee or watching the sunset with your favorite libation. Enjoy a gourmet continental breakfast during the week day. Full breakfast is offered on Saturday with a buffet style offered on Sunday. The inn features living room, dining room, kitchen, waterfront veranda, conference room, game room, beach, and pier area. The inn can also host small parties (baby showers, rehearsal dinner, surprise birthdays, anniversary parties, business parties, etc.). Concierge and babysitting services are always available. This is a non-smoking, climate controlled Inn. Each of the stylishly appointed rooms and suites has its own luxury bath which is equipped with every sybaritic appointment down to soft cozy robes to relax in while looking out at your private view of the river. Two suites are equipped with private entrances, making for a cozy private getaway. The guest room amenities include in room coffee/tea service, cable TV, and more. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Events and weekends require a 2 night minimum stay.
