Laurel bank is an Edwardian semi detached property on three floors in a quiet residential area, ten minutes from the centre of Pickering historic market town. I offer one twin room and one superking twin with en-suite, with the use of a very comfortable lounge. There is access to the internet, DVD player and TV in the lounge, tea and coffee making facilities and toiletriesin the bed rooms. We provide off street parking and an attractive private garden. Breakfast is £8.00pp and £4.00 p child under 12 There is a warm welcome at Laurel Bank B and B Home from home. Pickering is a classic little English town, compact and pretty with a Norman Castle, steam railway, rural museum and surprisingly wide choice of excellent restaurants, cafes and a wine bar. Pickering hosts several major events each year: the war weekend, Traction engine rally, various events featuring the Steam Railway ( North Yorkshire Moors Railway - NYMR - ) and of course the increasingly popular 60's Weekend. A few minutes out of town a wealth of of stunning villages set in the beauties of the North Yorkshire Moors. With the coast only 20 miles away many fishing villages and the larger attractions of Whitby and Scarboroungh are in easy reach. You will discover a weekend is not long enough to enjoy all that's on offer.
