For active visitors, the hotel offers opportunities for a variety of recreation: beach volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, canoeing, sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, and more. Kids enjoy spending time on the playground or at the TAMBA club, where a team of professionals organizes activities and games just for them. Dining options include breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet restaurant, and an a la carte restaurant specializing in Italian, Asian, and Ottoman cuisine, as well as seafood. In the evening, you can listen to live piano music in the lobby bar or visit the Latanya Disco. The Latanya Beach Resort Hotel is located in the Yalıciftlik area, right on the beach. It’s the perfect place for enjoying the white sand and clear blue waters of the Aegean. To see some of the local historical sights, head to the Bodrum city centre, approx. 14.4 km/8.9 miles to the northwest by car. Most prominent is Bodrum Castle (Bodrum Kalesi), also called the Castle of St. Peter, built in 1402 by the Knights Hospitaller. Today it houses the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which exhibits some amazing finds yielded by underwater excavations along the Turkish coast.
