The Lakeside Holiday Inn hotel is located by the southern bank of the Suzhou River. It lies within around 5 minutes' walk of Nanjing Road pedestrianised zone and the nearest subway station, which provides links to line 2 of the public transport network. The famous Bund can be reached within approximately 10 minutes on foot. This is a modern business hotel, which opened its doors in March 2006. The establishment comprises a total of 70 guest rooms and provides its guests with Suzhou lake views. The establishment features 22 lake view rooms and 5 luxurious suites. All of the accommodation units come equipped with computers and broadband Internet access. Other facilities available in the en suite rooms include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, air conditioning and central heating. The lobby level restaurant serves a simple breakfast each morning. The terrace garden is also a nice place for guests to relax, meet friends and view the city.
