The Lake View Hotel ( Wuhu dajiudian ) is a four star hotel located on the Huxin island, about 40 minutes from the airport and just 15 minutes drive to the railway station. This hotel was newly opened in spring of 1996, with a total of 302 guestrooms and suites, all nicely decorated and equipped with air conditioning, IDD, color TV and mini bar. Non smoking rooms also available upon request. The hotel restaurant is a plus. The Camellia Cafe serves a wide variety of both local and international favorites and offers the best western food in town. The Chinese Restaurant on fifth floor offers delicious seafood and Cantonese cuisine. For business, there is a multifunction hall and six meeting rooms. The hotel business center provide basic secretarial service, fax and ticket reservation service. For recreation, there is a billiards room, a bowling alley, a tennis court, gymnasium, a sauna and beauty salon.
