Nestled between the hills and the spectacular sea at Monterosso, the pearl of the Cinque Terre, is "La Villa degli Argentieri". This Unesco World Heritage site boasts breathtaking views, once discovered and savoured by the likes of Byron and Shelley, Montale and Soldati. This year its crystal clear sea of cobalt and sapphire hues has received the highest recognition from the Legambiente (Environment League) and the Italian Touring Club, being awarded the prestigiuos 'Cinque Vele'. The delectable Villa, first constructed in the 1950s and recently renovated, is situated in an exclusive and peaceful area overlooking the sea, separated only by a picturesque tree lined avenue. There are a select number of rooms (one of which is specifically designed to accommodate disabled people), elegantly furnished with all the home comforts: air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, hydro massage shower, safe, hair dryer and electric linds. Visitors can relax in the lounge bar, where breakfast is served.
