The La Stella Apartments & Suites is a small boutique hotel, located 400m from the sandy beach in the picturesque and serene village of Platanes. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is a terrific haven for couples and families with 27 comfortable studios, apartments and family suites, a sparkling swimming pool, tranquil garden and a friendly staff offering excellent service and warm hospitality. Guests to the La Stella Apartments & Suites can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas and "ouzerias" and attractions in Rethymno, just 4 km away. Hersonissos Airport is a 20 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Famous attractions include the archaeological sites at Knossos, Phaistos, Gortys as well as the Venetian castle in Rethymno, the Samaria Gorge and many other minor gorges (Agia Irini, Aradena, etc). Due to the location of this property and its layout it is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.
