We are located in Lingua quiet and relaxing resort of the Salina island of the Eolie's Archipelago. Surrounded by gardens and situated at 3 m. from the beach, the Hotel La Salina Borgo Di Mare is located at a tranquil setting overlooking the small lake of Lingua, which in the past was a salt-mine and the homonymous lighthouse. The hotel has an ancient history as it was a small village that for years gave hospitality to workers of the close salt-mine. In the 60's, when the salt-mine closed, it started to be an accommodation for tourists. The Hotel La Salina Borgo Di Mare opens on 16th June 2006 after three years of renovation. The style building presents architectural features typical of the island, such as typical large seats and cane coverings. Various types of accommodation are available, ranging from Standard rooms, more spacious Superior rooms, sea view with private balcony or small garden DeLuxe rooms and one uniquely designed J.Suite with spacious terrace and magnificent sea view. Each room has a balcony or a private terrace where guests can relax in plain privacy, air conditioning,satellite tv,internet connection,mini bar and in-room safe. With colour schemes that accentuate the morning and evening sun rays, all the rooms are elegantly decorated to meet the style and comfort requirements of the most discerning guest. The Hotel features solarium, direct acces to the beach, well furnished bar all day opened that overlooks the sea, with a wonderful sight on the islands of Panarea,Stromboli,lipari and Vulcano; on the background Sicily with Vulcano Etna's outline.
