La porte des Glenan is a family-run hotel offering a warm welcomean the perfect base for easy access to the port, the beach and thesurrounding countryside. The hotel is located in center of Loctudy,a renowned seaside resort since 1890, that has always brought delights to holidaymakers. Relaxing or playing on the long beaches, sailing, cycling, golfing,cruising to the island of Glenan, visiting the port and the fish market, admiring the fishing boats as they return to harbour,tasting the gastronomic delights and discovering the local history :your choices are many. Capital of the “langoustine” - the famous Loctudy prawn - thiswell-known fishing and sailing port is ideally located at the mouthof the River of Pont-l'Abbe. With 12 kilometres of coastline of rockypoints and long beaches of fine white sand, the scenery is alwaysdifferent and magic. The bar offers a wide selection of Breton beers, ciders and local alcohols, as well as growers wines that perfectly complement the Loctudy prawns and oysters, fish and shellfishes brought to you fresh from the fish market. The “degustations” of seafood are available to order and are served in the evening.
