The cuisine of the Marquesado del Zenete draws on the historical influences of having been the last Muslim Kingdom of Spain. The restaurant has 3 dining rooms, boasting a warm atmosphere and dishes with a local history and hospitality behind them. Situated as you enter Alpujarra, in the north of the Sierra Nevada, this hotel is opposite the Castillo de La Calahorra. The accommodation occupies a palace fortress dating from the 16th century, in the middle of a setting of great natural interest. The property boast a unique personality, with exquisite rooms and a rich and traditional cuisine. From here you can try out numerous adventure sports in the National Parks or alternatively, visit cultural Guadix and Granada. Located only an hour from the airports of Granada, Almeria and Malaga and near the sea and the mountains, this is the ideal base from which to go on excursions and practise adventure sports. You can try out canyoning, horse riding and 4 x 4 excursions through Guadix and Granada National Parks.
