The Hotel La Cava is situated in the centre of the town of Cabanes, facing the sports centre and the football pitch. It features its own pub, in which guests can enjoy the local atmosphere. It is situated in a 131.5 km municipal district, which includes the town of Cabanes as well as other centres such as Borseral, Empalme, la Font-Tall, Mas de Enqueixa, Polido, Santes, Torre la Sal, Venta la Sal, Venta de San Antonio and Ventorrillo. Cabanes is thought to have been founded in the Roman era as a mansion on the Via Augusta route, while the town we know today came into existence in 1243, as part of the Miravet province. This hotel enjoys an ideal location in the centre of Cabanes, and offers visitors high-quality, friendly service. It provides guests with the two tempting options of mountains and sea, for all their leisure and relaxation needs. Renovated in the year 2000, it comprises a total of 16 spacious and fully equipped accommodation. Set in a lovely enclave just a few kilometres from the beaches of Torresal and offering some magnificent views of the Desert de les Palmes national park, the hotel is surrounded by many of the places of interest to tourists within the province. It is without a doubt the best place from which to enjoy the area's lovely mountains and beaches. The hotel also offers rooms for banquets and special occasions with a capacity of 135 diners. Further facilities include an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, lift access, a restaurant, Internet access, room service and parking for those arriving by car. All the accommodation is spacious and fully soundproofed, and each comes with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a television, a hi-fi system, air conditioning, heating, a double or king-size bed and a minibar. Some also feature a telephone and a fridge. If arriving later than 9:00 pm it is advisable to call ahead and inform the hotel of your arrival time.
