This Cuzco Guest House has affordable rooms in a traditional family house in a central residential area. The Kukuli Lodge offers comfortable Peru accommodation on your way to the ruins of Machu Picchu, the fortress of Ollantaytambo, and the Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Backerpackers and independent travelers will enjoy their stay in this traditional house in the central district of Wanchaq. The lodge has unlimited hot water and serves breakfast in the morning. An internet connection is available. The Kukuli Lodge is located near the centre of Cuzco, adjacent to the landmark social security hospital called EsSalud (its full name is Hospital Nivel IV Adolfo Guevara Velasco). Nearby are Inca Garcilaso de la Vega National College and the Estadio Garcilaso, the stadium that hosted South America’s continental football championship, the Copa America, in 2004. From the Kukuli Lodge it’s approx. 2.7 km/1.7 miles to Cuzco’s historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can see city walls remaining from the days when this was the capital of the Inca Empire. Spanish colonial buildings surround the Plaza de Armas, including the Cathedral of Santo Domingo. The Kukuli Lodge is approx. a 10 minute drive from Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.
