It’s a comfortable downtown Kazan, Russia hotel, located in the historic Iske Tatar Bistase district. Newly opened in 2007, the Kolvi Hotel is a business hotel with a conference room that can accommodate 40 people. For a nominal fee, guests gain entry to the spa area, which includes a sauna, a jacuzzi, a Turkish bath (hamam), a lounge with an LCD flat-screen TV, and a karaoke area. The staff can assist guests with laundry and dry cleaning services, car rental, airport transfers, daily newspapers, and use of the hotel safe. The Kolvi Hotel is located in the historically Tartar area of downtown Kazan, called Iske Tatar Bistase. The hotel is 1 city block southwest of Levobulachnaya Street (Levo-Bulachnaya ulitsa) along the Bolaq canal. In the immediate vicinity are numerous exquisite mosques, including the Nurulla Mosque, Soltan Mosque, and Marcani Mosque. Approx. 750 metres/0.5 mile to the east of the hotel is the Koltso shopping centre and the Ploshchad Tukaya (Tukaya Square) station on the Kazan Metro rapid transit system. The Kazan Kremlin is approx. 1 km/0.6 miles to the north.
